On November 5, 2012, A man identified as 28 year old Vancirlei de Jesus Dantas was shot down as he rode his bike in the Bela Vista neighborhood of São Paulo, Brazil. He was shot four times in the head, once in the back and once in the neck. The massive amouunt of blood on the street is the result of Vancirlei’s carotid artery being hit my the bullet that struck his neck.
19 year old Jefferson Costa Borges was apprehended four months later in connection with this murder as well as being charged with three other murders and an attempted murder. At least Vancirlei left a lasting impression with his haunting death stare.
