A serious accident occurred on the BR-101 in the city of Entre Rios (145 km from
Salvador, Bahia – Brazil) between a van and a semi coming from the opposite direction. The van was carrying six people when the van was clipped by the semi and three of them were killed outright, with two being decapitated and three others were seriously injured.
The truck driver works for Oil Bahia and in a statement from the Union, the driver had been pulling a double shift due to the employer being too cheap to hire another driver. Police are still investigating. So it’s possible that this is an accident that very well could have been avoided.
