Corpse of an unidentified, severely bloated man was found in the brush somewhere in Brazil. The stench must have been something awful.
Is it me, or does it look like the corpse is breathing between 0:07 and 0:09? Must be the work of the bacteria that cause the bloating. There is more bacteria in the human digestive tract than is the total number of cells that compose a human. The bacteria are kept in line by the immune system, but once the person dies, there is nothing to place limits on them so they go on a feeding frenzy. As they feed, they produce gases that cause bloating.
I’ve heard from an undertaker that coffins are not made to be tightly sealed anymore, because allegedly there were cases of coffins literally exploding due to over-accumulation of gases produced by the bacteria. Whether it is true or he was just messing with me, I do not know, but I take it for a plausible possibility that it could happen.
