Gang violence is the order of the day. Four males, one of whom was only thirteen, were gunned down on the street in broad daylight in Serra, Grande Vitória, state of Espírito Santo, Brazil. The four are believed to have been drug dealers and were targeted by a rival gang most likely due to territory. Either way, the young men were on the corner when a car pulled up carrying at least six individuals who then fired multiple shots at the men, punching huge holes into the backs of their heads and faces and causing one of them to actually lose his entire face in a shower of blood, brains and skull matter. One of the victims attempted to reach safety by fleeing into a butcher shop but was gunned down inside, the shop owner was also injured but nothing life threatening. As of right now, there are no suspects in custody and the exact nature of the shooting is still under investigation.
