Not so long ago we saw a video of unfulfilled potential from India, that showed a toddler crawling unattended on a ledge of an 8th storey window. Now here’s a video of a similar situation from Brazil.
On May 31, 2014 a boy of about three years, dressed only in underwear was filmed hanging on the outside of a balcony on the fifth floor of a building in Vila Velha, Espírito Santo. The baby reportedly hanged inches from falling to death for 5 minutes before local vendors broke in the apartment and rescued the child.
Bruno Teixeira, who works at a kiosk in front of the apartment building noticed the child and without giving it a second thought, left his shop and ran to save him. Accompanied by Wagner Nascimento Gomes who work with Bruno, the couple told the main entrance security guard that there was a child who could fall to his death any second so the guard let him in. The two found the door to the apartment unlocked so they walked in and grabbed the child before the worst could happen. They then found the child’s mother soundly asleep in her bed.
