Headless corpse of a man identified as 28 year old Mauro Roberto Teles de Menezes was found in a brush on Atílio Andreazza in the city of Manaus, state of Amazonas, Brazil. Aside from having been beheaded, the victim also had his eye plucked out and one ear cut off.

As there was no blood at the scene, police suspect that the man was decapitated elsewhere and his corpse thrown into the brush. Even after death, the victim was still carrying his golden jewelry which rules out the possibility of a robbery assault.

I got lots of photos and videos from Best Gore member zeehkaev who told me that there are several protests happening in Brazil right now. It started in São Paulo where protests were sparked by recent hikes in fares for public transportation but apparently spread to other places as well.

According to zeehkaev, around 26,000 people participated in a peaceful protest on Avenida Paulista – the main street in São Paulo where they were shot at by police with rubber bullets and tear gas despite them chanting “Peaceful Manifestation”.

Protesters can reportedly be seen holding banners with such messages as “We Want Brazil Fixed” or “Don’t Let the Government Rape You”.

Barbaric murder in these photos happened in the town of Baraúna, state of Rio Grande do Norte, Brazil. 61 year old João Ezequiel da Silva murdered his wife, 48 year old Maria da Conceição Mendes da Silva by beating her in the head with a garden hoe. The killing took place at 4am but despite it being deep night, neighbors went to see what was going on after overhearing the screams of distress. Husband tried to escape on a motorcycle but forgot the keys inside the house and had to return. While doing that, he unlocked the front door and entered leaving the key in the lock. Neighbor who came to see what the screams were all about noticed the corpse in a pool of blood in the middle of the kitchen and used the key in the lock to lock the killer up. Police just had to collect him from his own home prison.

Husband alleged that he had killed his wife because she threatened to sell the house that belonged to her and leave him. The man said he even tried to kill himself by holding onto a power cable without isolation but failed. He also wrote a suicide note in which he stated the reasons for the murder.

For the sake of authenticity, I’m publishing the translation as provided:

He’s a police man expressing how he enjoys being a police man, but only the serving of people, not the corrupt version (that we mostly see). There are upgrades going towards venues that give the government money (world cup), and not the health care or education. He feels he may get sick and chance his life because of how bad the health care is. He’s crying due to that he disagrees about what is going on, being on the side of the protesting, taking favor for the public. He then goes on about friends of his dying in hospitals because of the long wait of being at least looked at and taken care of by the hospitals.

He then goes on that he enjoys the sport, football, but he disagrees that the government only cares about the world cup. He knows why he serves as a police officer, but he disagrees that the government tells him, along with other police, to go out there, stop the protests, continue with the shooting and tear gas. The guy doesn’t want to and doesn’t like to because he wants to serve the people, not corruption.

He goes on about that all of what he is told to do, along with putting his life in danger against criminals, gets such a low salary, that he is reduced to rice and egg every day, tired of seeing his wife and son not getting any meat because of the low salary. And it isn’t just about the bus fares. Yes they increase, but it makes it harder with the cutting salaries and everything else increasing. The other police feel the same in the mind, even if they are there physically.

He then goes on (around 3:00 mark) that at one time as he was in front, that the people were trying to express their feelings, not violence and one couple came up to give him (specifically), some flowers as proof of peaceful protest, but he was ordered through his earpiece to start shooting them. Then there are the police who aren’t human because of the things they do to people, with what goes on inside the police hall, to go ahead and ask friends about those people. He states that there are those, like him, who receive orders not to put the criminals in jail, but the protesters instead, or face jail time, lose job as consequence. (Basically, let the murderers, thieves out doing whatever, but snatch the protesters.) Towards the end, he basically explains in short summary what he said.

On the morning of Tuesday July 2, 2013 an awful double homicide took place in the city of Panelas, not far from Caruaru in Pernambuco, Brazil. The victims were two little brothers – 14 year old Cássio Olavo da Silva nicknamed Perua and 10 year old Rosenaldo Olavo da Silva nicknamed Olho de Brecha. The former was executed with 3 headshots, the latter took two shots in the head and one in the neck. The two died in a brotherly embrace, close to each other.

According to police, the brothers were users of crack cocaine and marijuana and were involved in several thefts in and around the city. Agnaldo Olavo da Silva – father of the victims said he was aware of his children’s actions and expected this to happen because the boys had received death threats.

Four people got run over while participating in a July 1, 2013 protest on the Anhanguera highway in the Jundiaí area of São Paulo, Brazil. The accident was caused by a semi truck that was unable to stop in time and rear ended a tow truck.

I have to say that in this case the protesters were truly asking for it. The semi could not stop on a dime and the tow truck was stopped because the protesters were blocking its passage. With a car on its bed, it had a place to go so the driver wouldn’t stop in the middle of the highway if he was able to continue on his way.

It started with the discovery of mystery head last Tuesday – July 2, 2013 in the town of Barra do Corda, state of Maranhão, Brazil. 19 year old Alexandre Esteves dos Santos came to his school in the Metropolitan Region of Belo Horizonte, Brazil with a gun and wounded two classmates with gunfire. The student later claimed that he was fed up with being bullied and took the reckoning to his own hands.

20 year old Brazilian funk singer Daniel Pellegrin, better known by his stage name of MC Daleste was shot and killed while performing live on stage in front of more than 5,000 people in the city of Campinas in the Sao Paulo state. Having just witnessed Josemir’s murder before their eyes, the footballer’s relatives and friends invaded the pitch and proceeded to lynch the referee. Da Silva was beaten, kicked and stoned, but the true Brazilian spirit came out when a member of lynch mob pulled out a sickle and decapitated and dismembered the ref right there on the pitch.

Barbaric crime happened on Sunday July 7, 2013 in the city of Teixeira de Freitas, state of Bahia, Brazil. 30 year old José Idário Ferreira was beaten in the head with a club and machete until his skull split open and brain matter spilled out.
