17 year old Almir José Nunes was found murdered and with half of his face missing on a dirt road in Sítio Massapé, city of Altinho, Pernambuco, Brazil. The teenager was a serial thief. He was caught 8 times stealing electronics and animals and spent some time in an institute for young offenders. Stealing animals? WTF?
His corpse was found partially decomposed. I’m not sure his face disappeared as a result of decomposition or if it was eaten by wildlife, as the latter assumption has not been mentioned by any report I’ve read.
Note how his right eyeball is inside the socket in photos with corpse on the stomach, but photos taken after he was flipped over show no eyeball.
