A man committed suicide by laying on a railway track in Sobral, Ceará – Brazil.
I have little information beyond that, although the pertinent question here is “did he feel a thing?”. I can’t understand why someone who commits suicide by laying on a railway usually puts their abdominal area over the track, instead of the head. A quick decapitation would assure immediate death, but for some reason many people disregard that. I think the guy didn’t die instantly. Sure, he probably didn’t last long but still, it looks painful. Or maybe he fainted as soon as the train hit, leaving him unconscious while death kept approaching, second by second.
If he remained conscious and lived for a little longer after impact, what was going through his mind? Did he regret his decision? If so, must have been a horrible feeling, especially after realizing he would definitely not make it out alive.
