Woman Stabbed and Stoned to Death in Her House by Deaf-Mute Woman

A woman was murdered on Friday February 14, 2014 in Caruaru, Pernambuco, Brazil but thanks to prompt response by neighbors who overheard her screams as she was getting bashed in the head with a brick, her murderer was caught red handed. To everyone’s surprise, the murderer was a woman who lives nearby and is a deaf-mute.

57 year old Norma Suely Nanes Dantas had mental problems and lived alone in her own house on Avenida Canal, Riachão Boulevard, Caruaru. She was stoned and stabbed to death by deaf-mute 45 year old Anne Cristine Pessoa da Silva of rua Manoel Lopes Feitosa, Jardim Panorama, Caruaru.

Apparently, the sole motive for murder was money. The victim had reportedly just cashed her retirement cheque and the deaf-mute lady wanted to steal it off her. I don’t even know what to think of it. The deaf-mute lady is a thief and a murderer who took a life of an innocent person, but if despite one’s severe disability they’re forced to resort to thievery, something’s very wrong.
