Brazil sure is one strange place.

On August 2012, a 30 year old farmer who was believed to be possessed by a demon, killed a chicken and drank it’s blood, killed a young dog and drank it’s blood and then beheaded his 4 year old son, with the intention of drinking his blood as well.

His wife ran away from home and went to a police station once she saw her husband kill the dog. If only she knew what he would do to her young son.

Do I sense a huge irresponsibility? Why couldn’t she take her son to the police station with her? She didn’t, and now he’s dead.

Soon after the police made the arrest and took him to the police station, but little did anyone know what was about to happen.

The population of the town got informed about what had happened, got together, broke into the police station, overpowered the cops, grabbed the farmer, stoned him until his face turned into a pulp and then set his body on fire.

With overcrowded prisons and knowing how the judicial system in Brazil works (or doesn’t work), the town’s people knew he would very likely be released soon, and decided to take matters into their own hands.
