Here’s a case of a da Silva who almost escaped the da silva curse. On Saturday, November 29th, 26 year old Romilson Soares da Silva was shot by two men at a neighbor’s house in Caruaru while he was playing cards and was left for dead. However, he survived and was being taken to the hospital in an ambulance, when the same two men (possibly on a motorcycle) that tried to murder him blocked off the ambulance and at gunpoint ordered the ambulance’s back door to be opened. When it was opened, the two men shot Romilson three times; in the chest, hands, and mouth, killing him. The murderers have not yet been identified. Romilson is believed to have participated in a murder, and that this may have been retaliation for that incident. Recently he had also been the target of a stabbing.
So, it doesn’t look like Mr. da Silva was an angel but the fact that he nearly escaped his death was something worth sharing.
