At around 4 am on November 20th in Altinho, state of Pernambuco, Brazil 17 year old Robson “Robinho” Rodrigues da Silva became a victim of a drive by shooting. He was fatally wounded but managed to escape from his attackers but eventually collapsed in a pond. According to the young man’s family, he was involved with drugs and it is believed that this is why he was shot down.
I’ve heard that the thing you never do when shot, is run. You increase blood flow and in turn lose blood much faster. That’s why they teach police to curl up on the ground and stay still, calling in for back up. Criminals obviously have to run and as such will tire out very quickly.
