34 year old man named Vando Batista Cardoso was shot in the chest area with a 28 gauge shotgun and killed while in a bar in Bairro Vila Nova, in Confresa, state of Mato Grosso, Brazil. According to the Polícia Civil, the shot was fired by one Nildo Pereira Carvalho, nicknamed Grande (Great).
Despite being mortally wounded, the victim was able to walk home without losing any of his flip flops.
