Dismembered Body Found - Body Parts Removed to Hamper Identification

I have little information on this one other than it happened in Higienopolis, Central São Paulo – Brazil.
The body was found two weeks ago and the killer/s removed body parts, including the fingers and head, to hamper the identification of the victim.
The tattoos were also removed, according to police.

If this had been in any other country, this tactic of dismemberment chosen by the murderers wouldn’t be as efficient since reports of missing people are usually scrutinized to the smallest of details, but so many people go missing every day in Brazil that this could have been a smart move. The city of São Paulo alone has over 11 million inhabitants, and the state has over 40 million, adding that to a high level of criminality, and the work gets harder for the investigators.

Further information
I just got some extra info on the case.
Apparently police is currently investigating CCTV footage in order to identify the suspect of this crime. In the surveillance video a man with a gray jacket and black shirt is carrying a small cart, which the police suspect to have been used to carry the victim’s body. Due to the automatic rotating system of the CCTV, the camera didn’t manage to film the suspect’s face in detail.
